In my last blog I was complaining about how tough life here is. But come to think of it, there are people out there who’s life is even 10 times tougher than what I am experiencing. At least I still have food on my table and a roof over my head. And most important of all, healthy enough to work and see the sunrise the following day.
I should be counting my blessing instead of sitting back and lamenting about being tough. Well I am still a creature of emotions. Definitely there are times when the whole body is tired and weak, negative thoughts sipped in. Was browsing through my photo collections and came upon the picture below. That is where I started thinking about my good fortune. Why am I here? Is not to complain but to carve a niche for myself and help share knowedge in order to provide a better living for these people. All the thoughts of hardship disappeared when I saw twinkling eyes of the child. Although the kid could not speak a word of english, I bet my hardship could not be compared to his. Moreover at his age, his endurance might be even higher than mine. Sigh.. Lesster, shame on you!
